Welcome to NeuroPractica. By using our mobile application or website (neuropractica.org), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. What NeuroPractica Is
NeuroPractica is an educational tool designed to build clinical reasoning skills through interactive, case-based learning. It is intended for medical professionals and students.
NeuroPractica is not a medical reference, diagnostic tool, or substitute for clinical judgment. Cases are designed for educational purposes only. Do not use NeuroPractica content to make real patient care decisions.
2. Accounts
You must create an account to use NeuroPractica. You can sign in with Google, Apple, or email (magic link).
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@neuropractica.org.
You must be at least 16 years old to use NeuroPractica.
3. Subscription Tiers
NeuroPractica offers two tiers:
- Core (Free) — Access to Level 1 cases with personalization.
- Advanced (Paid) — Full access to all case levels, analytics, case history, and bookmarks.
Advanced subscriptions include a 7-day free trial with payment information required upfront. After the trial, you will be charged automatically unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings or through your app store.
4. Payments and Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual). You can switch between monthly and annual billing or cancel at any time.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@neuropractica.org for refund requests.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or reproduce NeuroPractica's case content
- Use NeuroPractica for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with the operation of the service
6. Intellectual Property
All case content, educational materials, scoring algorithms, and personalization logic are the property of NeuroPractica. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from NeuroPractica content without written permission.
7. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Account deletion is a soft delete with a 7-day recovery window. After 7 days, your data is permanently removed.
8. Disclaimers
NeuroPractica is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Case content is free from errors (though we strive for clinical accuracy)
- Use of NeuroPractica will result in any particular educational outcome
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeuroPractica and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of NeuroPractica after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
